About Us

We Are Pasifika People

Born from the islands. Built by veterans. Made for the community.

This Brand Has Roots

Pasifika People didn't start with a business plan. It started with a feeling — that familiar ache of pride you get when someone sees your culture, really sees it, and reflects it back to you beautifully.

We're a husband-and-wife team, both disabled veterans of the U.S. Army, based in San Antonio, Texas. Our hearts have always been tied to the Pacific — the islands, the languages, the food, the laughter, the kind of family gatherings that start at noon and somehow end at midnight. We designed this brand for the people who know exactly what that feels like.

Whether you grew up on Guam, Samoa, Hawaii, Tonga, Fiji, the Philippines, CNMI, or any of the beautiful islands scattered across the Pacific — or whether you were born on the mainland but raised on island culture — this brand is yours.

The Art Behind the Brand

Every design you see in our store comes from a real creative process. The artwork is led by our co-founder — a veteran, a mother, and a deeply talented artist — who blends traditional Pasifika motifs with modern design to create pieces that feel both timeless and fresh.

We use AI as a creative tool to help explore ideas, but every piece is refined, customized, and given a human touch before it ever becomes a product. Nothing generic. Nothing copy-paste. Every design is made with intention and cultural respect.

We take that seriously. These aren't just patterns — they're stories. Symbols. Heritage. And we treat them that way.

For the Diaspora. For the Keiki. For the Auntie Who Needs a New Hoodie.

The Pacific Islander diaspora is one of the most underrepresented communities in mainstream fashion. We see you in San Diego, in Houston, in Tacoma, in Killeen, on base, off base, raising kids far from the water and trying to keep the culture alive in a place that doesn't always understand it.

Pasifika People is for you. For the family reunion fit. For the keiki who wants to wear their heritage to school. For the veteran who served this country and still carries the islands in their chest. For the auntie who spotted your hoodie across the parking lot and immediately asked where you got it.

We see all of you. And we're making something for all of you.

Veteran-Owned. Family-Made. Island-Inspired.

We served this country with everything we had. When our service ended, we brought those same values into everything we build — discipline, pride in the craft, and an unwavering commitment to the people around us.

Every purchase you make supports a small, disabled veteran-owned business run by two people who genuinely love what they do and who they do it for. That means something to us. We hope it means something to you too.

More designs are always in the works. More products coming. More islands represented. We're just getting started.

Hafa Adai. Talofa. Aloha. Mabuhay. Malo e lelei. Bula.

Welcome to Pasifika People. 🌺
